We published The Same Game for the New Zealand Ministry of Education. It is a picture book that’s intended to help foster the principles of diversity and inclusion. Set in the familiar world of school, The Same Game makes connections to students’ own experiences and supports them to recognise and appreciate their similarities and differences.
We also created teacher support materials with learning activities that go deeper into the perspectives of the characters and the themes of diversity, inclusion, and empathy.
